They have used not only for pure entertainment but for self portrayal of art and culture by the rural artisans . Here the familiar content of local colloquial dialects are used to make the communication more clear and intimate. The rapport is immediate and direct. Some times the communication seems to be more godly and graceful. People worship and seek solace from those superhuman characters of Epics of great values and culture. Indian Folk Arts have generous mix of dialogue, dance, song and they cater to all types of audiences in the rural  areas of our vast Country in different forms and styles. It must be seen that numerous religious, cast and linguistic groups have their own distinctive Folk and Traditional art forms and they have been used by different Medias in our Country. The first Indian film Raja Harischandra was  mythological  and was influenced by the tribal form of story telling, a folk tradition of the Nashik district of Maharastra.
